I began my collection when I purchased a Burts letter opener many years ago. I do not know where Burts was--I assume it was a store in the Terminal.Although not strictly a Terminal Tower souvenir, meaning not sold by what I assume was a railroad souvenir shop that sold the many items I have collected, I'll include it here to show how the acquisition of one simple item can spark an entire collecting passion.
And if you were to ask me "Why the Terminal Tower?" -- I would say I really don't know. I am a Clevelander of a certain age, and I have fond memories of the Tower.
I also have a spot in my heart for mementos, keepsakes.
